Blogging struck me a good 3 years ago just by chance.I happened to get registered in a contest that selected the best blog amongst all the branches in college for our Intra-College Culturals and got into it for the heck of it.When the results came out,I had failed miserably for I did not have much idea on what needed to be done right then.And then in the January of 2008,I happened to see We the People , a popular TV Show on NDTV 24X7 where in,the theme on that day was on blogging and how the life on the average Indian had changed since then.And there I saw my mentor, Meenakshi Reddy – someone who was quite a name by then and also musings on her blog which had created ripples in the blogosphere for its sheer masterclass.Next day,I hopped onto her blog and  have never came out of it,till date.And this started my tryst with blogging.

And today, after 3 years 220 posts and 4 blogs, I am here with my latest (yeah,I keep changing) “Madras Central” which would depict the life around me in a short and crisp manner.Welcome on board.. 🙂

Nikhil Menon was born in the port city of Cochin – the Queen of the Arabian Sea.The author has lived most of his life in Madras aka Chennai which he proudly calls it home.Being the average dork has never made life easy for him though being an optimist lives on with it,seeing the funny side of things.e has learnt quite a big deal in the 21 years of his life thus far and those lessons have egged him to go on in the quest for betterment.He believes in CHANGE, does not believe in the democracy of today and is a terrible dancer.A die hard Romantic and a foodie,Menon loves to write in his free time besides Photography,Blogging and People Spotting…He has the company of some amazing friends,most of him are from the blogosphere.
